I love creativity. And I think the best thing about creativity is that it expresses itself in so many different ways. It’s all about passion. When I go to the Sham Shui Po Golden Computer Arcade, everyone there is so passionate and excited.

The city of Hong Kong has certainly captured my heart. Sometimes, though, it is essential to commune with God in a natural space like Tai Mo Shan.

One of my favourite places to visit in Hong Kong are music stores! They have a lot of cool guitars and gear. Being here is relaxing whenever I observe the craftsmanship that goes into building these instruments.

If there’s one place that reminds me of my home, Halifax, it would be Tai O. The quietness, the smell of the ocean, and the sight of the fisherman reeling in fish bring me back to the fishing town in Canada.

I was introduced to Tai O in 2018 when I came for an outreach. I feel relaxed, at peace, and refreshed when I'm surrounded by nature. Here is also where I’ve gained clarity in my personal vision and calling as a discipler.

Tin Shui Wai is like an old friend who is wise and patient. Young and biassed as I was, I wished to disconnect from her as much as possible. As years passed by, I began to appreciate and be grateful for what she had offered me, which is a perspective that is not based on the outlook but an effort to seek out what is precious and unique inside.

Kai Kung Leng never ceases to amaze me, despite the numerous hikes and different life seasons. God’s creativity and beauty constantly blow me away whenever I reach the peak. And my worries and anxieties always faded away whenever I reached the top.

For the past months, our team of staff at YWAM Harbour City have been serving in new ways. Usually, our local outreaches would be more face to face, but what do we do, when we cannot go out and meet people?

That may be a pretty bold statement to start with, but it is one that I believe wholeheartedly. I believe that God desires for each person on this earth to know him and to have an intimate relationship with him. We as Christians have an opportunity to help people find Jesus.

As we do missions in Hong Kong, we encounter multi-cultural experiences in our daily lives. Our neighbors, the usual places we go to do groceries, as we visit different churches, whether they are international or local Cantonese-speaking churches, it's incredible how cultures cross each other.
